He was one of my favorite actors ...I feel the same. He was one of my favorite actors of all time. It was with tears that the news found me today. I saw the Alamo when I was 9, my father made me watch it and I instantly fell in love with Richard Widmark as Jim Bowie. I became an instant Alamo buff and collected many movies of Richard Widmark. I had always wanted to meet him. To just say thank you for his fine on screen performances.
